CSR -Master the requirements of the SA 8000 Standard

The news often shows social practices unacceptable and companies with a low consciousness of the impacts their unawareness of ethical issues can have on their brand image. In response, Social Accountability International (SAI), developed the standard SA 8000 (Social Accountability), universally recognized as a reference in social ethics mater. This course allows the participants to familiarize themselves with specific requirements of the standard SA 8000.

·        Introduction to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ·        Competitive scenario, communication & transparency ·        Explanations on SA 8000 requirements ·        Child and forced Labour ·        Behaviour based safety ·        Freedom of association, social dialogue, non-discrimination ·        Working hours and remuneration ·        Management system requirements

 

Pedagogical methods:

Pedagogical games with the standard concepts, case studies in small groups

Sustainability Development Responsibles, Supply Chain Responsibles, logisticians, buyers, supplier auditors, etc.
