AS 9100D Aerospace QMS Foundation and Internal Auditor
A three-day course covering the subject of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and their auditing in the aerospace industry.
This interactive course covers the purpose and requirements of AS9100 revision D Aerospace Standard for Quality Management Systems. The standard enables an organization to demonstrate that it is able to provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The course includes practical exercises and instruction in audit planning and performing internal assessments against AS9100D. Subjects include principles of auditing, the competence and evaluation of auditors, and the audit process and reporting.
Objective
At the end of the course, attendees should have an understanding of auditing a QMS management system in the aerospace industry and in particular be able to understand:
- AS9100D requirements
- Auditor qualifications
- Planning and conducting an audit in accordance with AS9100D guidance documents
- Reporting the audit, including writing valid, factual and value-adding non-conformity reports
- How to undertake audit follow-up activities
